Spike 1.1 - GW weapon damage calculator with all factors changeable
Spike does one thing - it takes your character's, weapon & target stats and calculates how much damage you will do to them. A bit more convenient that an Excel sheet/web form
What it does:
- Works for any weapon
- Correctly calculates reduced gains for attribute levels above 12
- Has a nice weapon type selector that fills in the RoF for you
- Damage, RoF & Armor penetration modifiers
- Ignore armor
- Adjustable critical hit chance
- Actual Min, Max & Critical damages, as well as actual DPS with and without crits.
It is NOT a scam, virus, keylogger or anything like that, just a damage calc.
Download instructions in the case you're unfamilliar with Rapidshare:
On the page that the link opens up, click the "Free" button, then on the next page click the "Download: Spike_1.1.rar" link.
http://rapidshare.de/files/7923555/Spike_1.1.rar.html [220 Kb]
What it does not currently do that it should:
- Proper critical hit chance formula - I don't know it, so I had to make it adjustable. The default for equal opponents is rumoured to be 20%. If you know the formula - please contact me and I'll implement.
Feedback is always welcome, so please comment

Thanks for the feedback people
coldplay, RoF is Rate of Fire, i.e. the delay between strikes of your weapon. It's a fixed value for any given weapon type, 1.33 sec for swords, etc.
deathwearer, I've seen your program, it has some bugs, sadly - wrong calcs for armor penetration and attributes above 12. And it's missing armor ignoring As for including source as proof of good intent - good idea, I haven't thought of that
I'll add skill damage calc today, completely forgot about it.

FeuerFrei, describe the problem in more detail please. I just tried DLing it from work, it's ok. The only case where it wouldn't let you DL is if you DLed something from Rapidshare today and it was over 50mb - in that case it won't let you download anything today from the same IP address.
